A downloadable game

- This is a racing game for the Commodore 64.  It is a simple arcade style racer, inspired by games like Pitstop and Pitstop 2.

- It is a port and reworking of my Super Monza GP 2 game for the VIC 20.

- The game now features the Bahrain circuit, as well as the four circuits from SMGP2 (Monza, Monaco, Spa and Interlagos).

- An in-game circuit map with location indicator has been added.

- Colliding with cars results in damage, which can be repaired by entering the pits during the race.  More damage equals slower maximum speed.

- Compete in a single race on any of the five circuits.  Alternatively, play them all in sequence in the Championship mode, where you have to complete every race with a podium finish in order to continue.

- Choice of three difficulty levels, which are determined by starting position and race length.

- PAL / NTSC.  It will run on either a PAL or NTSC system, but it is designed to run on a PAL system.  It will run slightly faster on a NTSC system and will play a little harder.

- Joystick only.  The game is a single load and will run on any C64 compatible system.  Download files are provided in "prg" and "d64" formats for ease of use.

Very nice racing game with a great feeling of speed and acceptable graphics, which technically reminded me a little of the C64 conversion of SEGA's "Power Drift". Our German-language review can be found in our recorded livestream starting at 02:12:39. Subscription to our YouTube or Twitch channel is welcome. 🙂

Thanks for the kind words.  It's not really in the same league as Power Drift but I'll take it!

This is a pretty decent homebrew racing game for the C64. Well done.

Thanks Richard.  Much appreciated!
